The Happy Couple Handbook—Marriage: How to Survive Parenting was inspired by the author’s more than 30 years of professional experience with her happy clients and her own long-term, loving marriage. The book explores why parenthood can sometimes wreak havoc on a marriage. With checklists, tips and how-to lists in every chapter, she reveals what you can do to protect and work through normal problems to make your own marriage feel better. Dr. Carol has updated, edited and condensed her previous book with new reference sources and a new title. She describes many ingenious ways for couples to grow closer, savor their sex lives, cultivate a loving family village, and even how to argue in a way that lets couples build a warmer marriage.
