L.P. Sloan’s family always found value in keeping the spirit of past generations alive through a tradition of storytelling. But times changed and the family scattered around the globe. Older people who could recite the stories were suddenly a hemisphere away from the children who were ready to hear them. The growing distances between generations provided the impetus for the author to preserve their tales in Bridges.
