ABOUT THE BOOK

Another Redstripe, Please: Dachshunds in the Midwest is the anticipated sequel to Redstripe and Other Dachshund Tales. The original characters, Sheila from New York and Cirtron from Jamaica, travel to the heartland of the United States with two dachshunds to take up residence on a farm left to Sheila by her late uncle. The surprise of the two new owners, when they discover the true nature of the farm, is diminished only when they learn the secret of a garrulous old woman who befriends them.

The querulous hounds weave their mischief on the farm and everywhere else, as only the dachshund breed can do, as the Redstripe adventures continue. The dogs, Redstripe and Paris, make their feelings known about just about everything.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jack Magestro left careers in teaching, educational administration and Information Technology to write. He lives in a small town in Wisconsin with his wife Jill and their dachshund Belle. Over the last decades, his experiences as a frequent traveler to many of the seldom-visited reaches of the Caribbean have formed much of the background for his stories. Blending his love for his little dog and his fascination with the islands, he paints his own brand of humor onto the pages in his books.
