ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Terrington Calas (B.A., M.A., M.F.A., Ph.D.) is the chief critic with the New Orleans Art Review. He has taught art history, philosophy, and painting at several institutions, including Louisiana State University, Loyola University, and University of New Orleans. He was chief art critic with the New Orleans Times-Picayune and has contributed essays to several journals and exhibition catalogues.
Steve Bachmann (B.A., J.D., M.F.A.) is the associate editor of the New Orleans Art Review. He has served as art critic for Isthmus (Madison, Wisconsin) and on the faculty of the New School (NYC). ("Politics of Modern Art"). Bachmann is author of U.S. Constitution for Beginners, Preach Liberty, Nonprofit Litigation, Lawyers, Law, and Social Change, and Simulating Sex.
