UP is pleased to publish many authors located outside the US, who want to
reach American readers. Our printing and distribution are ideal for
giving international writers access to US markets.
UP is also forthright in disclosing factors that are less than ideal:
Most UP books can be ordered individually from booksellers like Amazon.uk,
Amazon.fr and Amazon.de at competitive retail prices, but shipping
books in bulk to authors overseas is still slow and costly.
UP accepts orders (and pays royalties) exclusively in USD, and our media
contacts, while numbering in the thousands, are primarily US newspapers,
magazines, radio and television stations.
UP welcomes inquiries from international writers whose work holds appeal
to US audiences, and we are proud to carry several quality books by
international writers.
